“Layers of Tasmania” is a further exploration of the creative process adopted in the project “light” by which two photographs are layered on top of each other creating an entirely new composition.
Differently from “light” this time a photograph was overlapped by one of my recent paintings; enhancing the “surrealistic landscape” vibe of the shots. The choice of combination was purely random, allowing chance to define the outcome.
The landscape photos were all taken during a trip to Freycinet National Park in Tasmania, Australia.
